Founding

1972

May	Kohyei TRADING Co., Ltd. and The Zippertubing Co. (USA) merger, and ZIPPERTUBING (JAPAN) LTD. is established with ¥1 million yen in capital. Atsuhide Tsuchihashi becomes the company's first president Walter A. Plummer is named chairman of the board of directors
Oct	We begin producing Zippertubing at our Shijo-nawate factory in Osaka

1973

Jul	We move our Shijo-nawate factory in Osaka to Suma-ward in Kobe

1974

Oct	We implement an automatic press welder

1978

Oct	We begin producing Zippertubing for automobiles

1979

Jan	To cope with growing sales of Zippertubing for automobiles, we implement 3 roller welders

1980

Oct	We begin producing Shield Mesh
Dec	We relocate from our Suma-ward production plant in Kobe to a production plant in Nagata-ward

1981

Aug	We begin producing Noise Seal

1982

	We celebrate our 10th anniversary

1983

Jan	We implement our first extrusion processing machine

	Our earnings reach ¥300 million

Jan	We acquire ISO14001 environmental management certification
